An honest note on PNG files
The quality slider only affects JPEG compression — PNG is a lossless format by design, so it doesn't have a quality setting the same way. If you upload a PNG, this tool will still let you preview it, but for real file-size savings on photos, converting to JPEG (see our format converter) usually helps far more than adjusting PNG settings ever could.
